Great Weekend

I just finished up a wonderfully different weekend. Big Daddy and I spent the weekend planning our summer vacation. We would usually spend the weekend on the bikes. I must say it was different, but a kind of nice different.  We have decided that we are going to New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. It doesn't seem like it would take a long time to plan a summer trip, but with all of the stops it takes a while to figure out what hotels to pick along the way and what activites to choose.
This afternoon we decided to go and eat at Cracker Barrel. Afterwards we went to look for a backpack for our hiking we plan to do in Bryce Canyon, Utah. After leaving Conroe Big Daddy made an unscheduled pull over on a side street.  He asked me where my phone was. Well, in my tank bag where it usually is, I replied. He told me that my phone was calling him and it was coming through the bluetooth on his GPS. While we were sitting in the parking lot of an apartment building I spotted a beautiful butterfly frolicking in the flowers.
I jumped off the bike and got the camera.

Sometimes it's the little inconvient things that can lead you to something beautiful you might never have seen otherwise.

Which reminds us to take time to enjoy the little things in life no matter how small they may seem.
